Ole Thompson

(November 30, 1887 - July 24, 1911)

The Lusk Herald
July 27, 1911

Ole Thompson passed away Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock. He had been unusually well for him until a week ago, when he got worse and kept declining until the end. Nine years ago he was kicked in the head by a horse and ever since then had been subject to fits which the doctors said were epileptic. He was 24 years, 8 months and 25 days old at the time of his death; he was born in Boone county, Iowa and came to Wyoming with his parents in 1887. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon and the remains interred in Kirtley cemetery. Rev. Mager, of Manville, conducted the funeral services.

For the many acts of kindness and for the words of comfort in the last hours of Ole's sickness we wish to thank our many friends and neighbors.

Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Thompson and family.
