Funeral for Mrs. Brooks Held in Douglas

Funeral services for Mrs. George (Mary) Brooks were held September 16, at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Douglas, with the Rev. Clyde Thompson officiating. Burial was in the Douglas Park Cemetery. Mrs. Brooks died in the Casper Hospital September 12.

She was born in Lusk October 12, 1898 to Mr. and Mrs. George Saffel. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Past Grand Club, and Friendly Neighbors Garden Club, all of Douglas, where she has made her home for the past 42 years.

Survivors include her widower, George F. and two daughters, Jean and Norma of the family home in Douglas; and a brother, Harold Saffel of Sheridan.
