Funeral services for Mary E. Broderick Osback, 71, will be Jan. 16, 1997, at the Harrison (Neb.) Bible Church with the Rev. Don Mathis officiating. Burial will be in the Harrison Cemetery. Memorial Chapel in Casper is in charge of arrangements. A full obit will be printed Jan. 22.

Mary E. Broderick Osback

Services for Mary E. Broderick Osback were Thurs., Jan. 16, 1997 at the Harrison Bible church with Pastor Don Mathis officiating. Burial was in the Harrison Cemetery. Memorials are to the Harrison Bible church.

Mrs. Osback died Jan. 14, 1997 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

She was born July 9, 1925 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to John M. and Myrtle (Phillips) Broderick. The family ranched in eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska for a number of years. Mrs. Osback attended grade school in Wyoming and Nebraska and high school in Chadron and Harrison, Neb. She graduated in 1944 from Sioux County High School.

She married Kenneth Osback in 1947 in Harrisburg, Neb. They moved to Wyoming where Kenneth worked for Amoco Pipe Line. Mrs. Osback was employed at Natrona County School District #1 for 30 years. She retired in 1987.

Mrs. Osback was a member of Casper Drove #38, BPO Does, a volunteer of the hospital auxiliary and a charter and lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary #9439.

She is survived by her daughter, Ranae Mason of Glenrock, Wyo.; her sisters, Jackie Herren of Harrison, and Kay Goecke of Guernsey, Wyo.; 3 grandsons, John, Will and Joel; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers.

Memorial Chapel of Casper was in charge of arrangements.
