Mrs. Aten Dies in Casper Thurs.

The community was saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Fred (Luella) Aten of Linch late Thursday evening at the Natrona County hospital. She had suffered a stroke last Wednesday.

Mrs. Aten was born March 19, 1911 at Long Pine, Neb., and had met her husband there. They were married in Colome, S. Dak., in 1931 and lived in various localities until coming to Lance Creek in 1943 where Mr. Alten was employed by the continental Oil Company. They left this field in 1956 going to Linch where the family had since made their home.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Bustard Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Edward Bateman officiated at the services. Interment was made in the Natrona Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Aten is survived by her husband, Fred, two children, Mrs. Everett Kilmer of Lusk and Willard of Lander and four grandchildren.

The community extends its deepest sympathy.
