Four Taken By Death Past Week

Death took four People from this vicinity during the past week. John Risberg, cobbler here since 1918, died at 2:30 Wednesday morning.

Johan Petter Risberg had been ill for two weeks at the Spencer Hospital. He came from Stockholm,and was naturalized at Bemidji, Minn. in 1911. He came to Lusk about 1918 and has since operated a shoe repair shop here.

From papers found among his possessions it is believed a son may live at Cumberlain, Wis. and until word was received from him no arrangements were being made.

Services Held for John Risberg

Funeral services for John Risberg, veteran cobbler of Lusk who died February 4, were held Monday morning at 10 from the Peet Mortuary chapel, conducted by the Rev. Millard Marshall, Congregational pastor.

Earl L. Risberg, a nephew from Baron, Wis. came here for the services. Five brothers and sisters are living in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

Pallbearers were P.O. Person, Paul Brozovich, George Brooks, W.W. Edmondson, Harry Hargraves and Tom Nielson, Providing music for the services were Ford Kuhns and Mrs. Robert Kuns accompanied by Mrs. J.P. Wastson.
