Brother Of Commissioner Geo. H Grant Dies At Home In Converse County

Charles W. Grant, brother of Commissioner George H. and Theron O. Grant of Jireh, and for more than 30 years a resident of Box Elder park in Converse, passed away at his home last Saturday morning, shortly after a heart attack. Mr. Grant had been in poor health for a number of years, but the end was sudden and unexpected.

According to information received here, Mr. Grant had worked about his place as usual Saturday morning, until he was suddenly stricken. He died within a few moments.

Mr. Grant was a good citizen and a respected man in his community and wherever known. He was a member of the Masonic and Odd Fellow lodges both of which had charge of the burial ceremony when the funeral was held on Monday. Deceased is survived by his widow, one son, five brothers and one sister.
