Former Resident Robert Hargraves Dies in Worland

Funeral service for Robert M. Hargraves, 68, who was born and reared in Lusk was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Worland.

Mr. Hargraves died Friday at the Worland Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born Sept. 6, 1906, in Lusk. In 1925, following graduation from Lusk High School, he was employed by the Illinois Pipe Line in Indiana. He had also been employed by J. M. Huger, Carbon Black; Fred Manning Drilling Co. and the Empire State Oil of Thermopolis. In 1966-68 he was a driller on the Sahara Desert of Africa.

Hargraves married Etta M. Dickson of Worland in 1968.

Besides the widow, Etta, of the family home he is also survived by two brothers, Lyman D. and Gordon B. Hargraves of Casper; one stepson Verdon Ash; and one step-grandson, Dalson Ash of Worland.
