Donald Humphreys Dies

Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 4th at Crown Hill Cemetery in Cody for former Lance Creek area resident Donald Z. Humphreys, 62. Rev. David Donkle officiated.

Mr. Humphreys died April 2nd at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Miles City, Mont.

He was born March 19, 1922 at Jireh, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Monzie G. Humphreys. He attended grade school in Lance Creek and high school at Manville.

Mr. Humphreys was a veteran of World War II and served with the U. S. Navy in the Pacific.

He was a barber for many years before ill health forced him to retire.

Survivors include one daughter, Diane Lee Hoagland of Billings, Mont.; one brother, Dale Humphreys of Cody; two sisters, Donna Flitraft of Canyon Country, Calif. and Mazie Nay of Powell and two grandchildren, Brett and Angela Hoagland.

A sister, Beulah Foley, preceded him in death March 29, 1984.
