Donald Phil Heumier Jr.

Donald Phil Heumier Jr., 18, grandson of a Lusk woman, was killed in a single-car accident in Omaha last Saturday.

He was the eldest son of Don Heumier of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. G. J. (Iris) Lynn of Forest, Miss.

Phil was graduated from Papillion La Vista High School in Omaha in May.

After visiting his grandmother and other relatives in Lusk this summer, he was employed as a machinist in Omaha.

In addition to his parents, Phil is survived by two brothers, Tony and Barry Heumier, and a sister, Lori Heumier; grandparents Faye Heumier of Lusk and Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Roland of Forest; an aunt, Harriet Heumier of Cheyenne; four uncles, Bob Heumier of Torrington, Quinn Heumier of Lusk, Carl Roland and Charles Roland, both of Forest; and many cousins.

A service and burial took place in Forest on Tuesday
