Jake Joss Dies At Casper Sunday

Funeral services were conducted for Jake Joss at the Peet Chapel on Tuesday afternoon of this week, with Rev. Daughtee of Harrison in charge. Mrs. J.P. Watson presided at the organ and duets were sung by Miss Patricia Taylor and Miss Yvonne Vogel. Pall bearers were Art Joss, Art Keller, C.E. Marvin, Jim McAllister and Norman Cotteau.

Mr. Joss, resident of Niobrara County for the past 50 years, passed away Sunday at the Natrona Memorial Hospital in Casper, following a brief illness. He was 80 years of age.

Mr.Joss had been employed on various ranches in Natrona county during his residence there.

Two brothers, Sam Joss of Manville and Chris Joss of Lusk were with him during his last illness. Another brother, John, resides in Seattle, Washington and the deceased in also survived by two sisters, Bertha Cooley, San Diego, California, and Tillie Schultz, Pierce, Nebraska. among several nephews are George and Art Joss of Manville.
