She died March 6, 1997, at St. John's Nursing Home in Jackson Hole of heart failure.

She was born March 11, 1909, to John and Frieda Senner Ellsworth in Grand Island, Neb. She was raised in Grand Island, where her parents owned and operated a greenhouse that covered a city block. While visiting her sister, Kathleen Crossley, and her family, who lived outside of Newcastle, she met Alan Clark. They were married Nov. 7, 1936, by Alan's grandfather, the Rev. D.J. Clark.

They lived and ranched on the Clark ranch near Hat Creek. They raised their three children, Barbara Ellen, Maryann and Cody, on the ranch.

Alan died Aug. 20, 1973. She married Bob Scott, Sr. April 6, 1976. She lived on the Clark ranch all her life until the summer of 1996, when she moved to Jackson, to live with her daughter, Maryann.

In late August 1996, she moved into St. John's Nursing Home in Jackson, where she resided until her death.

She was renowned for her beautiful embroidery work. She was a fine cook and baker. She was loved by all who knew her and we will all miss her.

Besides her two husbands, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Pearl, who died in infancy; brothers Leo and Jack Ellsworth; and sister Kathleen Crossley.

Survivors include son Cody and his wife, Flora Mae of Lusk; daughters Barbara Hall of Sheridan and Maryann Bodine of Jackson; five grandsons; one granddaughter; and seven great-grandchildren.

Bader Funeral Home of Lusk was in charge of arrangements.
