Services for Karen Frances Wagner, 37, of Cheyenne, Wyo., were held Friday, July 3 1992, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cheyenne with Pastor David Rockwood officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Wagner died Tuesday, June 30, 1992, at Memorial Hospital of Laramie County, following a lengthy illness.

She was born Jan. 18, 1955, in Sheridan, Wyo., to John and Irene (DesEnfants) Knight. She attended all her school years in Lusk. She was Job's Daughter Honored Queen in Lusk.

Following high school, she joined the National Guard and was active in the guard until 1986. She worked for the State Highway Department and then the Secretary of State's office for Thyra Thompson and Kathy Karpan. In 1984 she married Miles Wagner of Cheyenne. She was also very active in sports including track, softball and volleyball.

Survivors include her husband, Miles, of Cheyenne; her parents, John C. Knight of Laramie, Wyo. and Irene Knight of Torrington; grandmother, Olive Poage of Torrington; sisters Connie Baker of Lusk and Ginger Wilson of Aurora, Ill.; a brother, Charles Knight of Sheridan and 13 nieces and nephews.

Friends who prefer may contribute to Laramie County Memorial Hospital Oncology Unit, 300 E. 23rd, Cheyenne, Wyo. 82002.
