Patricia M. Welch

Memorial service was conducted for Patricia Welch of Denver Saturday at Peet Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Frank Bozart officiating.

Patricia M. Welch was born February 19, 1924, at Lusk, the daughter of Pat and Adda Vaughan. She died June 22 at Denver.

Mrs. Welch attended schools at Lance Creek and Manville and married Robert Lee Welch on August 30, 1940 in Rapid City, S.D. They lived in Lance Creek until 1959 when the family moved to Tripoli, Libya, in North Africa. They moved to Denver in 1970 and in 1972 moved to Saudi Arabia. They returned to Denver in June 1974, and in September moved to Pakistan. They returned to Denver in 1978 where Mr. Welch died in August 1978.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, on infant daughter and two brothers.

She is survived by three children: Sharon Lee Welch, Robert Lee Welch, and Barbara Creekmore all of Denver; two brothers Joe Vaughan of Lusk and Jimmy Vaughan of Cleveland, Ohio and one sister Wilma Wilson of Alaska.

Music for the memorial service was provided by Minerva Watson, organist, and Joy Kaltenheuser who sang, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Precious Lord Take My Hand."

Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hugh McLean, Elmer Nelson, Sven Johnson, Jack Kettler, Robert Sides and Oscar Alexander.
