Bonnie Wolfe Graveside Service Monday

Graveside service was held for Mrs. Bonnie Wolfe, 69, of Laramie and formerly of Jay Em, at the Lusk Cemetery Monday at 2:00 p.m.

Rev. Tom Polk of St. George's Episcopal Church conducted the service. The funeral service had been held at Colyer Funeral Home in Torrington on Monday conducted by the Rev. Ronald Sims.

Mrs. Wolfe died at an Arlington, Texas hospital April 11.

Mrs. LaVon (Bonnie) Gabbert was born in Gentry County, Mo. June 18, 1904, and was the daughter of John and Martha "Blaylock" Gabbert.

She attended elementary schools in Enyart and Parnell, Mo., and later graduated from State Teachers College at Maryville, Mo. Following her graduation she taught school in Missouri, coming to Wyoming in 1937 where she taught at rural schools in Niobrara County.

January 2, 1941, she married Robert E. Wolfe at Lusk, and he died March 13, 1972. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Arlene Scadden, Grand View, Mo., and Marguerite Anders of Waterloo, Iowa; six brothers, George Gabbert, Maryville, Mo., Dale Gabbert, Grant City, Mo., Garvin Gabbert, Mound City, Mo., Bailey Gabbert, Tulsa, Okla., Noel Gabbert, Alexandria, Va., and John Gabbert, Silver Springs, Mo. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
