Father of Mrs. Cordell Dies of Injuries From Auto Crash Monday

Sorrow was brought into the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Cordell Monday evening, when news of the death of Mrs. Cordell's father, Charles Dix, reached here. Mr. Dix was injured in an automobile accident near his home in Sauk Center, Minn., Monday afternoon, the injuries causing his death at 9:20 o'clock that evening. Detailed information regarding the accident is lacking.

Mrs. Cordell left Tuesday afternoon for the parental home, from which place funeral services will probably be held today or tomorrow.

Surviving the deceased besides his widow are seven daughters, Mrs. Cordell, Alvina, who resided here for several years; Rose, Anne, Margaret, Kate and Mary; and four sons, Ben, John, Charles and Joe.

The sincere sympathy of the entire community goes out to Mrs. Cordell and other of the bereaved family in their hour of sorrow.
