Edward Wolfe Dies of Cancer in Calif. Fri.

Edward S. Wolfe, 33, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Wolfe of Lusk, died Friday afternoon at the Huntington Park Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, Calif., after a two year siege of cancer.

Funeral services were held Monday in the chapel at the Rosehill Cemetery in Whittier, Calif. Employees at the J. H. Hedrick Construction Co. were casket bearers. At the time of his death Mr. Wolfe was chief expeditor for the company at San Gabriel, Calif.

Edward Scott Wolfe attended school in the Rawhide area and Lusk Grade School, and graduated from Lusk High School with the class of 1945. He attended the University of Wyoming for one quarter and then entered military service. After his discharge he attended Pasadena City College for 18 months.

On November 6, 1948 he and Jeannine Meade of China Lake, Calif. were married.

He is survived by his wife; parents; two daughters, Linda 12, Marilyn, 7; and one son, Wesley Robert, 6; one sister, Mrs. Leroy Redfield, Worthington, Ohio; an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wolfe of Jay Em.
