Father of Mrs. Eugene P. Willson Dies

George Lipe of Salinea, Kansas, father of Mrs. Eugene P. Willson of Lusk, died at the family home, February 7, after a long illness.

Mrs. Willson spent three months at the home of her parents this winter, helping to care for her father, who was 76 years of age.

Mr. Lipe was a retired farmer and a member of an early day family of that section of Kansas, where he lived his entire life.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, February 10, but due to stormy weather, burial was delayed until the following day.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Maude Lipe; three daughters and a son, Mrs. Dorothy Cox, Lawrence, Kans.; Mrs. Zoa Krager, Concordia, Kans.; Mrs. Marie Willson, Lusk, Wyo., and Claude Lipe, Oakland, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and one great grandson.
