Claude Richardson Dies in Denver

Claude Richardson, of Denver, business associate in the Midwest Skelgas Co. and formerly in the Midwest Hardware, died in a Denver hospital Tuesday morning.

He was first known in Lusk about 1918 when the Sterling Lumber & Investment Co, in which he was interested, established a yard at Lusk to meet the oil boom needs.

Later Mr. Richardaon and D.L. Blum joined George Gibson in the Midwest Hardware stores, with Richardson taking over Blum's interest when Blum died. More recently Gibson became sole owner of the Lusk store.

However Richardson maintained his interest in the Midwest Skelgas firm which has since established branches at Newcastle, Gillette and Williston, N. Dak.

Surviving Mr. Richardson are his wife and a son, Donald, of Denver.
