Orville Cooley dies in Riverton hospital

Funeral service for Orville Cooley, 68, was conducted Jan. 5 at the Davis Funeral Home in Riverton with The Rev. J. Holland of the United Methodist Church officiating.

Cooley, who worked as a machinist, died Jan. 2 at the Memorial Hospital in Riverton.

In 1971 he was married to Cleo Miller in Riverton. He was preceded in death by one son Dale, who died in Vietnam while serving with the navy.

Survivors include the widow, one daughter, Jacqueline Armstrong, Rock Springs and one son, Richard Cooley, Aurora, Colo.; three step-sisters, three step-brothers, six grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

G. M. Miller and Jack Miller, Lusk, attended the funeral service. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.
