George Raymond Hargrove was born at Parker, S. D., Dec. 25, 1884, and died at his home north of Lusk, Dec. 3, 1918, of pneumonia complication.

On June 26, 1909, he was married to Miss Olive Berggren and to this union Heaven sent two little daughters, Olive Estella and Irma Louise, the former aged 8 years the latter 6, who with their mother are now left in a lonely home.

They must be comforted with the thoughts of a meeting on the other shore where there is no more sorrow and they will find their loved one waiting to welcome them.

Besides his wife and daughters, George leaves his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. Hargrove of Parker, S. D. three sisters, Mrs. Theo (Pfail) (last two letters in this archive copy difficult to read) of Murdo, S. D., who was with him during his illness, Mrs. I. E. Benney and Miss Ethel Hargrove of Parker, S. D.; also a brother, W. Hargrove, Jr. of Camp Wayne, Detroit, Mich. One sister, Mrs. O. A. Kimble, having passed to the other shore only four weeks ago.

Besides relatives he leaves a host of friends to mourn his loss all of whom sympathise with this lonely little family.
