Clara M. Hublein was born August 27, 1927 in Douglas, Wyoming the daughter of John and Annie Hublein. She was reared and educated in Douglas.

She moved to Buffalo, Wyoming about 1962 and was employed at the First National Bank until ill health forced her resignation earlier in the year of her death.

Survivors included three sons, Wayne York of Kaycee, Wyoming; Bob York of Lance Creek, Wyoming and Walden York of Lusk, Wyoming; her mother, Mrs. Annie Hublein Close of Olalla, Washington; four brothers, Harold Hublein, Olympia, Washington; Walter Hublein, Troy, Michigan; Paul Hublein, Houston, Texas and Howard Hublein of Howell, Michigan; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and her daughter, Shirley.
