Larry Lund passed from this life on May 13, 2016. He was born November 18, 1942 to Charles and Kathryn Lund in Node, Wyoming. Larry graduated from Lusk High School and served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Larry met the love of his life, Mary Jo Sommers in Lusk. They were married in August of 1967. The couple raised three sons and one daughter at the family ranch at Node. Larry also worked as a mechanic for the Wyoming Highway Department in Rawlins.

Larry's greatest treasures were his family and friends. Larry is survived by his wife Mary Jo of Rawlins, sons Chuck (Kim) Sommers of Cody, Roger Lund of Reno, Nevada and Larree Ann (Randy) Kraft of Lusk. Sisters Brenda (Bob) Pfister of Casper and Kathy (Mike) Kellogg of Spearfish, South Dakota. Larry is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Kathryn Lund and son Ron Lund. No formal services are being held. Memorials may be sent to the Niobrara Senior Center in Lusk or the Rawlins Senior Center.
