Ronald Norman Compton passed away at his home on March 31, 2018 after a ten month battle with cancer at the age of 81 and 10 days. He passed away peacefully at his home. Ronald was born in Denver, Colorado, but raised in Lance Creek, Wyoming. He married Lavonne Heany on April 5, 1959 in Lusk, Wyoming.
Ron is survived by his wife, Lavonne, two daughters, Rhonda Hastings, Debbie Compton-Klingbeil and husband Dane Klingbeil; grandsons, Dustin Hastings and wife Veronica Hastings, Cody Hastings and his great granddaughter Rhilyn Hastings.
He is survived by two sisters Connie Bongard and husband Jim, Jeannie Perrin and husband John and sister-in-law Florine Murillo and husband John. Five nephews, Stewart Henton, Kevin Bongard, Keith Bongard, John Perrin, Jr. and Michael Perrin.
He was preceded in death by his parents Norman "Red" and Ila Compton and his in laws Paul and Thelma Heany.
His cremation took place in Chandler, Arizona.
